Family: Wife Tammy, Daughter Christine 13, Son Hayden 2 I was born in LaCrosse, Wi in 1965 so I'm 40 years old. I started hunting when I was 12 years old and was out with my Dad before that. I love to hunt anything but my passions are whitetails with a Bow and gobbler hunting. I got hooked on gobbler hunting thanks to my Dad. When I was about 18 years old my Dad bought a slate call and said here learn how to use this, well I did and on our second day hunting in 1985 my dad shot a 25lb Gobbler and I have been hooked ever since or more like a Gobbler Hunting fanatic. I love Turkey Hunting but mostly enjoy calling in a Gobbler for a kid or for a first time Turkey Hunter or calling in a Gobbler for anyone who truly enjoys it to see the enjoyment on there face is awesome. I entered my first Turkey calling contest in 1986 and Won my first contest in 1987 and have been hooked on Turkey calling contest since. I have won the Wisconsin state and placed second 7 times and third twice. My most recent win is January of 2006 I won the Wisconsin State Convention Contest. I have placed in over 20 Calling Contests. I'm also a Certified Wisconsin Hunter Ed Instructor. Take a Kid Hunting is what we all need to do is to get a kid interested in the outdoors so any chance I get I take a kid hunting if its Turkey hunting or what ever Hunting they want to do. After all they are the future of Hunting. I greatly enjoy watching a Kids excitement when they shoot there first Gobbler thats priceless. I'm excited to be a Field Expert for Ol' Tom there gear is Top of the line and as I discovered This spring (Spring 2006) Turkey Hunting it Out performed my expectations when out in the woods. This gear is obviously made by Turkey Hunters for Turkey Hunters and it shows. |
