She is a forensic scientist for The Virginia Department of Forensic Science. We don't have any children yet as we have both chosen to focus on our respective careers for now. I work full time for Henrico County division of fire. I work part-time for Green Top Sporting Goods and part time doing paramedic work for Hopewell Emergency Crew. Needless to say I work alot of hours but always find time to turkey hunt and duck hunt. Its pretty common for me to work a 24 hour shift and go straight to huntin'. The hunting for me is a great outlet for the stress of the fire department and paramedic work I do. I have worked for the fire department for three years and have been a paramedic since 2000. I was fortunate to have great parents and friends that brought me up in the outdoors. I remember being in the third grade and wanting nothing more than to come home from school and get ready to go coon hunting with my dad. My father started me off coon hunting and rabbit hunting and it wasn't too long after that we started deer hunting. I always enjoyed time in the woods and it didn't matter if it was cold or raining, I always wanted to go. My father was never a turkey hunter however a guy that I grew up across the street from was a huge turkey hunter and it didn't take me long to worry him to death until he finally broke down and took me turkey hunting with me. His name is Todd Edens and after our first trip turkey hunting I was hooked to say the least. Todd is a great friend of mine and taught me alot about not just turkey hunting but hunting in general. Todd taught me how to run and gun for turkeys and I have been after longbeards for the last 12 years. Working at a sporting goods store part time I am around hunting clothing all the time and I can honestly say that Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear is by far the best on the market. I hunt hard and need gear that can perform when it counts and Ol' Tom definately does the job! I am proud to be affiliated with a company that offers great products and great custome service. |
