More importantly I am the father of two wonderful kids Isabella and Connor. Isabella is 5 years old and was with me last year when I shot a buck with my bow. Connor is 3 years old and is a fishing maniac! I am husband to my wife Jennifer who although may not understand my hunting obsession supports it without complaint. I began hunting when I was around four years old. I was and am very lucky to have a father that was not only an excellent hunter but was also always willing to take me with him. I've also been very fortunate to have been able to hunt all over North America. I have also made one trip to hunt in Africa. As I think back most of my best times and fondest memories throughout life involve either hunting or fishing, both of which are a huge, huge part of my life. I spend somewhere around 75+ days a year hunting small game, waterfowl, big game, turkey, predators, and various varmints. I truly enjoy hunting just about anything however turkeys are definitely at the top of my list, especially with archery equipment. I love the fact that you can truly communicate with turkeys and unlike deer, turkeys are never nocturnal, if its daylight you know they are moving around somewhere and I like that. In addition to hunting and fishing I also enjoy making custom knives, planting food plots, camping, and just about anything else having to do with nature and the outdoors. One of my favorite outdoor thrills is introducing a first timer to the sport I love so much.
